SAINT JOHNSBURY - A course at the Saint Johnsbury academy teaches kids business and entrepreneurship right on campus.
"What the students have done is broke themselves up into four categories, we've got a team that focuses just on the store. As a group we helped relaunch the website where another team focuses on data collection" says Sarah Emery the teacher of the class. Different groups of the class focus on different aspects of the store.
ST.JOHNSBURY - Students and parents gathered the jam-packed St. Johnsbury Academy Black Box theater last night to see the show put on by all three of the academy's performance classes.

ST JOHNSBURY- A lot of older buildings in St. Johnsbury could use some work, and one in particular got a face lift thanks to state and federal money. The Sewing Studio, owned and operated by Carolyn Cress, used to be located on the corner of Eastern Avenue and Railroad Street.

A nine week old black lab puppy was donated to the force though local merchants. Police dogs are used as a means of law enforcement. It is best to get a dog as a puppy and train him as he grows up.
ST. JOHNSBURY - The St. Johnsbury selectboard held a special meeting Tuesday that stirred up some frustration within the community.
The agenda for the meeting was sent out on Monday, which gave residents less then a day to plan to attend.

ST. JOHNSBURY - The two men accused of illegally manufacturing methamphedamine in St. Johnsbury were ordered to be held under federal custody.
Shawn Greenwood and Thaddeus Gordon were denied bail at their arraignment in U.S. District Court on Thursday.
ST. JOHNSBURY - The St. Johnsbury select board has appointed an interim Town Manager, but not everyone on the select board is happy about how the decision was made.
Assistant Town Manager, Dawn McPhee, is now the interim Town Manager. The decision to appoint McPhee was advised by the town's legal council, but according to Alan Ruggles, it was never discussed by the board as a whole.

SAINT JOHNSBURY - This Saturday the Caledonia County Sherrifs Office will be taking back unused perscription drugs.
Over the last four take back days the Drug Enforcement Administration has taken over 774 tons of medication. According to the DEA, last year a record was set of over 276 tons were turned in.

ST. JOHNSBURY - The St. Johnsbury Historical and Heritage Center is attempting to find new locations for some of their artifacts. For years, the Fairbanks Museum has housed and displayed some artifacts, but a lot more are still in storage.
