LYNDONVILLE - A six week workshop is being put on for seniors at the Lyndon Action Center.
According to Lallie Mambourg a big issue that seniors deal with are high blood pressure and with that, making sure not to digest too much salt.

ST. JOHNSBURY - The fairways of the St. Johnsbury Country Club is more than just a business venture for new owners Emily and Rudy Grass. For Emily Grass, the purchase brought her full circle. She grew up in St. Johnsbury and spent a lot of time on the course. Her father served as the club’s superintendent for 26 years. After moving back to Vermont to start a family with her husband Rudy, they were eager to jump at the opportunity to express their vision for the St. Johnsbury Country Club.
St. Johnsbury - The future of the St. Johnsbury Armory is up for debate once more. A hired consultant from Rego is currently determining whether the police dispatch center could exist within the already approved $5.4 million budget. If that is not the case, what other alternatives could the armory serve? The current plan is to potentially utilize the building's existing wood structure rather than replacing it, which would greatly reduce the cost and potentially bring the project within the town's approved budget.

St. Johnsbury - The St. Johnsbury School District is looking forward after narrowly passing its budget by 21 votes. On Town Meeting Day, the $31.8 million budget, a 5.34 percent increase over last year, passed with a 627 to 606 vote.

Residents gathered last night at the Saint Johnsbury Atheneum for a meet-and-greet with author Stephen Long, who was presenting his book, Thirty-Eight: The Hurricane that Changed New England, which was published in 2016. The author revisited one of the region's deadliest natural disasters to hit our communities and the impact it has left on the area since then.
